Privacy Policy

Short version: these tools run entirely inside your browser. Text you paste into a tool is processed by JavaScript on your own machine. It is never uploaded to a server, never logged, and never stored.

What we do not collect

• We do not receive, store, or transmit anything you paste into a tool. There is no upload step, because there is no server-side processing.
• We do not require an account and we do not ask for your email address.
• We do not set advertising cookies ourselves.

What is collected

What is collected

Two things, neither of which involves the content you work on.

A page-view count. Each page sends one small request recording the site hostname, the path of the page, whether this is the first page of your visit, and, on that first page only, the hostname of the site that referred you. It never includes the query string, and it never includes anything you typed or pasted, because the tools keep that only in the page itself. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier that would let us recognise you on a later visit. It is sent after the page is usable, so it does not slow anything down.

Standard request logs. Our content delivery network, Amazon CloudFront, records the usual server log fields (IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp) in order to serve the site.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising policies. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings. Ads are placed below the tool, never in front of it.

Your data rights

Because the tools process nothing server-side, and the page-view count holds no identifier tied to you, there is no stored personal data of yours for us to export or delete. For questions about request logs, use the contact route on the about page.
